These funny clowns were done by Kindergarteners. I taught the lesson step by step, drawing one shape at a time with a black crayon. Ovals were traced first.
This was so much fun. Lots of hugs and smiles. I am now teaching a butterfly lesson- cutting symmetrical shapes and coloring with oil pastels. But I have to teach during dopey DIBELS testing. The teacher has to sit in the hall with one child at a time, while a sub covers her class. I am finding the subs to be grumpy and unnecessarily harsh to the kids. It is much better for kids with teachers in the room. Also, one sub kept interrupting me with her own instructions. Not a good idea.
